Microdermabrasion Cream with glycolic acid is used to exfoliate the dead skin cells that lie on the surface of the skin and make it feel rough and dry. These dead skin cells cause lots of problems for the skin. In acne prone skins, they clog up the pores and lead to the formation of blackheads and pimples. In older skins, these dead skin cells make the skin feel rough and prevent the optimal penetration of our anti-ageing ingredients, Vitamin A (New Skin), Vitamin C (Vitamin C Serum) and copper peptides (CP Serum). We can also use it to exfoliate dead skin cells that block the pores on the outsides of the arms and on the thighs – which is a medical condition called keratosis pilaris (hair follicles blocked with keratin (dead skin cells).

Microdermabrasion Cream with Glycolic Acid is an essential part of controlling active acne and Clearskincare recommends all of my teenage patients with acne and my adults with very oily skin, use Microdermabrasion Cream with glycolic acid daily in the shower.

Microdermabrasion Cream with glycolic acid will lead to an improvement in the texture and clarity of the skin. If used regularly in conjunction with Clearskincare New Skin and/or Vitamin C Serum and/or CP Serum, you will also see significant improvement in the appearance of fines lines and wrinkles.

    Can you overexfoliate your skin?
Yes you can and your skin will tell you so by becoming irritated. Therefore Clearskincare recommends:
1.Daily exfoliation for very oily skins.
2.Twice weekly exfoliation for acne prone and older skins
3.Gentle daily cleansing using Microdermabrasion Cream with glycolic acid to enhance the penetration of New Skin, Vitamin C Serum and CP Serum.
